Hear me live on 'In Your Right Mind' radio show being interviewed about my work as a doula and the RISE workshop.

Jessica Morell is a DONA certified Birth Doula, a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and she holds an International Childbirth Education Association (ICEA) certification in prenatal fitness.  She is the creator and director of The RISE workshop, an early sex-ed class for 'tween' girls.  In addition, Jessica holds a Masters in Teaching, with a K - 8th grade teaching certificate and a BA in psychology. She has taught Montessori preschool - 8th grade. She is certified massage therapist in the state of California, specializing in pregnancy and women's massage.  Jessica's nourishing massage blends extensive professional training and gentle, heart centered presence.

"Jessica Morell has an amazing ability to nourish and cherish not only with her hands but simply by being in her presence. Her massage not only heals on the physical level but the emotional and spiritual as well; I always felt safe, honored and beautiful while she was working on me and would highly recommend her massage at any stage of pregnancy!"  F.D.

"Jessica’s pregnancy massage left me deeply relaxed and feeling nurtured.  She seemed to know just what my aching hips and lower back needed and she paid special attention to my concerns.  Her use of acupressure combined with her in-depth knowledge of pregnancy provides for a an excellent and restorative experience.  For a pregnant mama, she’s just the best!"   J.R.

"Birth is not only about making babies.  Birth is about making mothers -- strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and know their inner strength."
